Camden New Journal - Letters to the Editor
Published: 27 December 2007

Building for the future in education?

• IT is with dismay that the school at which I am privileged to serve as chair of governors has found itself being used as a pawn in the long-running debate for secondary school provision within the borough.
As 2007 draws to its close and we complete our first full year in our new premises, we have been celebrating our successes with a glowing Ofsted Inspection report and having been awarded Investors in People status.
The gloss has been somewhat tarnished by the comments of Councillor John Bryant who, it appears, dwells on past stories rather than looking to building better schools for the future – or is that no longer council policy?
