Silky soccer skills on show

With just seconds left in game, fisher took the ball and, well, juggled

FOOTY fans from Acland Burghley Secondary School in Tufnell Park were treated to a special soccer season when professional freestyler Mikey Fisher turned up to take them through their paces.
The internationally famous soccer ball juggler, who recently starred in the hit film In The Hands of the Gods, amazed youngsters as he performed a series of silky skills and tricks.
Mikey was invited to the school by Camden and Islington Year 8 district manager Everett Jervis, who introduced his own style of coaching when he combined music with football to produce an energetic training session.
The duo are now hoping to team up again in the new year and work with schools across Camden and Islington in a bid to help kids get more out of their practice sessions.
Everett told the New Journal: “It’s so rewarding when you see more and more young people wanting to get involved in a sport because they are inspired by how you’re teaching them.”
