Unicorns trample the Swiss Guard

LEAGUE leaders Unicorn ended their year in style on Monday when they sealed a resounding 9-0 victory over Swiss Guard in Division One of the Chalk Farm Pool League.
The result leaves them one point clear at the top of the table after second placed Boston Potters beat Boston Arms 7-2.
Swiss Scientists are third, but after losing to the Sir Robert Peel ‘A’ team 6-3 in their final match of the year they are nine points behind Unicorn.
At the bottom of the table, Peckwater secured a narrow 5-4 win over the Cricklewood ‘A’ side.
Boston Boys beat Boston Rimmers 5-4 in a nine game thriller.
In Division Two table- toppers Murray Arms will go into the new year 25 points clear of their closest rivals after beating Sir Robert Peel ‘B’ team 6-3.
Leighton Arms clinched a sixth win in nine games, beating Unicorn Ladies 7-2.
