Living Crib gives a festive reminder
MORE than 150 people took part in the Living Crib procession from Pond Square to St Joseph’s Church in Highgate on Sunday.
The annual tradition has been going for more than 30 years, and recreates biblical scenes.
“It’s a lovely thing to take part in and it’s to remind people Christmas is not about shopping until you don’t have any money left or eating until your clothes don’t fit,” said
co-organiser Cheryl Juckes.
“It’s about a little baby who was born 2,000 years ago to bring God’s peace into the world.” |
