Camden New Journal - Letters to the Editor
Published: 13 December 2007

Wanted – leisure and social space

• GORDON Brown and the medical consortium planning to build a research centre on the British Library lands are trumpeting the highly technical medical advances they hope to make there.
But the people of Somers Town don’t need research to know what would improve their health – less crowded conditions, and more leisure and social space.
We know that more housing and community facilities would improve the life, and health, of everybody – there’s no need for research about that.
NATALIE BENNET
Green Party South Camden co-ordinator
