Brother’s chase retrieves victim’s handbag

THE brother of a woman robbed in her own doorway won back her handbag after a chase through the streets of Somers Town last Wednesday.
The victim had been buzzed through the doors of her block in Coopers Lane without realising her attacker had followed. The robber dropped the bag in Chenies Place. Police said the suspect was white, aged around 21, and 6ft tall, and asked witnesses to call 020 7404 1212.
