Women’s football round-up

Greater London League
Divison 2 North
Camden Town 4, Katabella 0

A STUNNING first half hat-trick from Mary Guest led Camden to an impressive victory over rivals Katabella on Sunday at Regent’s Park.
Sealing only their second win of the season, Camden stormed into a commanding lead with player of the match Mel Johnson putting in a magnificent display. Sharon Murphy was also on target as Camden ran out 4-0 winners, leaving them two points behind Katabella in the table.

London & South-East League
Premier Divison
Spurs 2, Crowborough 0

SPURS maintained their unbeaten start to the season on Sunday with victory over Crowborough.
Jessie Richards opened the scoring when she rose high above the visitors’ defence to head home a Kerry Daniells’ free-kick midway through the first half.
In the second half, Tottenham missed a host of chances, before Rosi Webb rounded off the win with a clinical finish.

Middlesex County Girls League
Under-13s & Under-14s

THERE was double disappointment for Hampstead on Sunday when they lost twice to Brentford after only being able to field 10 players in each of their older age groups.
In the Under-13s Division, two goals from Hannah McWilliams and a strike form Janet Bunjo wasn’t enough to earn Hampstead a share of the spoils as they lost 4-3.
Meanwhile in the Under-14s League, Georgia Bruce, Georgia Kinsella and Kirsty Graham all found the back of the net as Hampstead were beaten 5-3.
