Golden-boy Leo leads the way for Anaconda

STAR swimmer Leo Kirby scooped an incredible eight medals at the Middlesex Development gala, held at the Southbury Road Pool in Enfield.
The speedy 15-year-old, who swims for Anaconda Swimming Club, won five gold medals as he stormed to victory in the 100m and 400m freestyle, the 100m backstroke, the 100m butterfly and the 200m individual medley.
Leo also claimed three silver medals after finishing second in the 100m breaststroke, the 200m backstroke and the 200m freestyle.
Club-mate Dominic McLoughlin, 13, captured two golds, touching home first in the 100m breaststroke and the 200m backstroke. Dominic also picked up five coveted yellow speeding tickets.
Gabriel Cramer, 14, won double gold after triumphing in the 100m and 800m freestyle.
Jessie Baker, 13, collected a hat-trick of medals as she won gold for the 200m and 800m freestyle events and bronze for the 200m backstroke.
Fred Cornwell also won gold in the 200m individual medley. Andrew Bartha, Kathleeen Bartha, Padraig Lynch and Mei Corbett all sealed podium finishes, while Joseph Heekin, Roisin Heekin, Jodie Sees and Samuel Dixon all won rosettes and set new personal best times.
