Police hunt flat blaze arsonist

DETECTIVES are hunting a suspected arsonist after a luxury flat in one of Camden’s most expensive streets went up in flames.
Police said the blaze in the Regent’s Park property, which overlooks the park, appeared motiveless.
They have appealed to the public to come forward with any information.
Firefighters were called to the third-floor flat in the Georgian terrace block in Cambridge Gate last Wednesday at around lunchtime.
The blaze was under control after an hour and other flats in the building were not damaged.
Det Con Shaun Hagan said: “This was motiveless crime and I am appealing for anyone who saw anybody acting suspiciously at the location between the hours of 12 and 2pm to contact police.”
