Headteachers get settled in

NEW headteachers are settling into their posts across the borough as five high-achieving Camden schools welcomed new faces in September.
Hampstead primaries New End, Fitzjohn’s and Christ Church saw their headteachers retire, while St Paul’s in Primrose Hill also has a new head.
Cathy Joyner had been at Fitzjohn’s for more than 20 years and recently oversaw a comprehensive building project completed at the Grade II listed building. She has been replaced by Rob Earrey.
At Christ Church, head Linda Carter has been replaced by Katy Forsdyke while at New End, Pam Fitzpatrick’s position has been filled by Karyn Ray.
Simon Knowles has taken on the headship at St Paul’s after John Wilkinson retired, while Blair Thomson has taken over the reins at Fleet Primary in South End Green.
All the schools were rated as either excellent or outstanding in their most recent Ofsted reports.
