Midlands League Division One
Hoddesdon 0
Kentish Town 3

PLAYERS from Kentish Town will celebrate the new year in style after a convincing victory over Hoddesdon saw them return to the summit in Division One on Saturday.
Town Produced one of their most inspired displays of the season to seal their 11th win in 16 games, leaving them one point ahead of title rivals Cockfosters.
Top scorer Lee Scott opened the scoring on the half-hour mark when he latched on to an inch perfect cross from Thomas Looney.
Safraz Pivano and Aaron Hutchins both missed great chances to increase the visitors lead, before Looney saw his well-struck penalty saved.
But Town finally increased their advantage when Josh Standford’s cross-come-shot deceived the keeper and found its way into the back of the net. Scott rounded off the scoring late on with his second of the game.
