Sabre squad success

MEMBERS from Camden Fencing Club showcased their skills on Sunday.
Curtis Miller (pictured) was among the winners at the Bath Leon Paul Junior Series Tournament, held in Glastonbury.
Competing in the boys’ under-15s category, Curtis, who lives in Holloway, sealed an impressive victory over Leicester’s Samuel Brightman.
Soji Aiyenuro finished first in the rankings after beating teammate Waldo Ramsey in the boys’ under-13s final.
The club, based at Acland Burghley School, dominated the category as twins Fabio and Gianfranco Artesi finished joint third. Under the watchful eye of national coach Ian Williams, the sabre squad continued their success in the boys’ under-11s category. Jack Horrix secured an amazing victory against Noah Rogerson, the circuit’s top ranked fencer. Alexis Friday, Josh Spoor and William Moore also all sealed top finishes.
Eucalypta Bradley ended her season unbeaten after winning the girls’ under-13s division.
