Dream is over for Town

Hertfordshire Senior Centenary Cup
Second Round
White Webbs 1,
Kentish Town 1
(Whitewebbs win 4-2 on penalties)

KENTISH Town suffered the heartache of penalties on Saturday as their cup quest came to end with a disappointing defeat away against Whitewebbs.
Town started brightly and were unlucky not to take the lead when top scorer Lee Scott saw his effort come back off the post.
Whitewebbs took the lead against the run of the play when Mick Nathan forced the ball home from close range. Town had the chance to level on the hour mark when Thomas Looney was brought down in the box, but for the second time in the game Scott saw his effort come back off the post.
Another penalty late on allowed Looney to finally bring the scores level as Town forced extra-time.
In a dreaded penalty shoot-out, Daryl Malcolm and Safraz Pivano both saw their spot kicks saved.
