Coroner to open spy’s inquest

THE death of former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko will be investigated at St Pancras Coroner’s Court from today (Thursday).
Mr Litvinenko, 41, who lived in Muswell Hill, died last Thursday at University College London Hospital of suspected radiation poisoning.
Dr Reid has decided that an autopsy and “special examinations” of Mr Litvinenko’s body are necessary to determine the true cause of his death.
The post mortem will be carried out tomorrow (Friday) at The Royal London Hospital.
