Tram route is one of several
• I WAS pleased to read your reported quote from Transport for London, that “the (Cross River tram) route (under consultation) is just one of a series of possible alternatives.” (Tram route row, Nov 23).
The consultation leaflet gives a different impression. Under the heading, How the route options have been identified, we are told that the proposals have been drawn up with representatives of the five key boroughs, presumably those through which the cross river tram is intended to pass.
Only those that are viable and can be delivered are being taken forward.
TfL information centres will be in Camden High Street on January 5-6 and in the German Gym at King’s Cross the following weekend, January 12-13, and consultation forms will be available there.
