Top trophy for veteran Harrier

HIGHGATE Harrier Ben Noad was presented with the Harry Rothery Trophy on Saturday after being voted the clubs most outstanding senior runner.
Noad has enjoyed a series of impressive performances over the past 12 months, including a second place finish in the Inter-Counties Cross Country and a top five finish in the National Championships.
The talented runner celebrated in style, with a victorious run in the Phoenix AC Anniversary road race at Preston Park in Brighton.
Noad missed out on a record breaking time by just 43 seconds as he completed the 7k course in a time of 21mins, 44secs.
William Ellis schoolboy Anthony Norris, 14, was awarded the Walter Jewell Trophy as the Harriers’ most outstanding junior runner.
Meanwhile the Masters Trophy went to Nicky Martyn, primarily for being the first ever veteran from the club to take part in the London Marathon.
