Year 8 winners Hampstead Boys and Camden School for Girls
Tournament proves showcase for talent

SECONDARY schools across the borough battled it out for top honours in the Federation Football Cup on Tuesday at Haverstock School in Crogsland Road, Chalk Farm.
Organised by the Camden Secondary Schools Federation, the day-long tournament proved a huge success as scores of talented young footballers showed off their soccer skills.
In the Year 8 finals, Hampstead Boys were crowned champions after seeing off competition from Haverstock and South Camden. The girls’ competition was a much tenser affair, with Camden School for Girls just tipping Haverstock to the trophy on goal difference.
In the Year 7 girls’ category Haverstock and Hampstead shared the title, while South Camden were the overall boys winners.
