Featherweight returns to ring

SUPER featherweight Ian Wilson (right) will return to the ring next Friday when he takes on Colchester's Matt Lewis at the York Hall.
The Camden-based fighter, who trains at the Times Amateur Boxing Club in Islington, is scheduled to take on Lewis over six three-minute rounds.
Anyone interested in tickets should contact Colin Wilson on 07706 452 712.

•FIGHTERS from the Times Boxing Club were in sensational form on Friday as they won four bouts out of four at the Romford Amateur Boxing Show.
Flyweight Brett O'Callaghan, 14, wasted little time punching his way to victory as he stopped Southend's Ben Cannon in the opening round.
Lightweight Tony Procommenos also only needed just the first round as he knocked out Bedford's Harry Darling.
Competing in the same weight category, 15-year-old John Lewis put on an impressive display as he out-pointed Jay Roberts over three two-minute rounds. Meanwhile light-heavyweight Andrew Paul, 31, also won on points as he beat Tottenham's Joseph McDonagh.
