Bishop’s anger at priest probe
THE Archbishop of Birmingham has expressed his frustration at the time it took police to investigate allegations of sexual abuse against a popular Camden Town priest.
Charges against Father Dominic McKenna (above) of Our Lady of Hal church in Arlington Road were dropped by police in August.
Archbishop Vincent Nichol who is responsible for examining whether Fr McKenna poses a risk to his parish, spoke to the National Catholic Register about his concerns over priests accused of sexual misconduct. |
