Striker invited for trials with Forest

GIFTED young striker Reece Tison-Lascaris has taken a step closer to fulfilling his dreams of becoming a professional footballer after being invited to take part in trials with Nottingham Forest.
The promising 15-year-old has already spent two weeks with the League One leaders, and has been invited back early next year to continue training with the club’s youth academy.
A keen Manchester United fan, Reece, who lives in Fredrick Street in King’s Cross, was first spotted whilst playing for his club side the London Tigers. He was snapped up by the Pro Touch Soccer Academy (PTSA), an organisation aimed at helping the most promising young players from across Camden and Islington make it in the professional world of football.
Head coach at Pro Touch Soccer Academy, Ash Rahman, knew instantly that Reece was a special player, and took him for a series of trials with Nottingham Forest at the end of last season.
Since then, there has been no looking back for the talented youngster, who couldn’t hide his delight at being given a chance to prove himself within a professional club.
Reece said: “It’s a great opportunity for me and I’m hoping that if I work hard I can secure a place with the club.”
Ash Rahman was quick to back Reece to make it to the very top: “To make it as a footballer is so incredibly difficult, but hopefully with the right guidance Reece will get the chance to prove himself and fulfil his dream of making it as a professional player.
“Players like him don’t come along very often, and when they do, you always need that little bit of luck that someone will give them a chance – and that’s exactly what the Pro Touch Soccer Academy is all about.”
