Kentish Town go top

Division One
Harpenden 0 Kentish Town 2

KENTISH Town returned to the top of the table on Saturday with a hard fought victory over a stubborn Harpenden side at Rothamsted Park.
The home side started brightly as Kentish keeper James Noonan was forced into making a decisive save early on.
The visitors took the lead when leading scorer Lee Scott found space in the area. Scott kept his composure to score the rebound and net his 10th goal of the season.
The goal calmed the nerves as Kentish Town settled into their stride. But Harpenden always looked dangerous and it wasn’t long before keeper Noonan was called upon again to make another important save.
Kentish Town had to wait until the final minutes before finally making the game safe when substitute Terry O’Leary crossed for Aaron Hutchins to powerfully head home from close range.
