Praise for the boys

Chapel's best ever comeback in an 11-goal thriller

Camden and Islington Youth League

Under-9s
TWO goals apiece from Liam Bristow and Alfie Costello saw Isledon Wolves continue their unbeaten start to the season. An own goal completed the scoring as Wolves sealed a 5-0 win over Bridge Rovers.

Under-10s
HAMPSTEAD twice came from behind to seal an impressive 4-2 victory over Islington Hawks. Reuben Hinkson scored twice, while captain Shane Cojocarel also continued his fine run of form in front of goal.
Charles Prince scored the goal of the game for Hampstead as he picked up the ball deep in his own half, beat two defenders and the keeper before slotting the ball home.
Goals from Alfie Francis and Hendrick Bungisa saw St Pancras twice came from a goal behind to earn a 2-2 draw against Westway.

Under-11s
THE big showdown between Peel and Hampstead Hawks ended all square. Peel struck first when Darren Micheals gave them the lead, but Hampstead hit back when John Souster headed in Danny McCarthy’s corner to force a 1-1 draw.
Berat Ahmet scored only goal as Isledon Wolves beat Lyndhurst 1-0.
Hampstead Tigers continued their perfect start to the season with a convincing win over Tufnell. Man of the match Greg Hollywood scored twice, with JJ Thompson also finding the back of the net as Hampstead sealed a 3-1 win.

Under-12s
WITHOUT doubt, the game of the day saw Chapel Boys make one of the best ever comebacks at Market Road to beat Tufnell in an eleven-goal thriller on Friday. Liam Magwood and George McLean scored two goals apiece as Tufnell stormed into a commanding 4-0 lead at half time.
With the match looking all but over, Omar Rowe and Omar Burton both netted a brace as Chapel turned the game on its head. The pulsating encounter took another twist as Brian Lymo scored for Tufnell. But an own goal and a strike from JJ Small saw Chapel complete a remarkable comeback to win 6-5.
Chapel were again amongst the goals on Monday as goals from Joe Foley, Sean Grace, Dillon White and Omar Rowe secured a 4-2 victory over Hampstead.
Winger Conor Maguire was in sensational form on Friday as he scored five goals to help lead Peel to a resounding 9-1 victory over a depleted Crown and Manor side. With only seven players turning out for Crown and Manor, Peel more than made their extra man count as Jordy Ndjeka, Srdjan Ignjatovic and Ryan Wickham all found their way onto the score sheet. Peel captain Harry Morris rounded of the scoring.

Under-13s
MIDFIELDER Bradley Robinson scored twice as Tufnell picked up their first win of the season against Hampstead on Friday. Faddy Elsayed was also on target as Tufnell ran out 3-0 winners.
