'Rowdy' eaterie's hours slashed

A GREEK restaurant has become the first venue in Camden to have its opening hours slashed by a special review panel.
The Hellenic Restaurant in Finchley Road, Swiss Cottage, enjoyed a later licence for just three months.
But the fun and games of a 2am finish on Fridays and Saturdays are over now after councillors ruled that that the venue has been too rowdy.
The review panel cut back the restaurant’s hours to midnight after a special meeting last Wednesday.
The case is a landmark in the way licensing operates in Camden – it is the first time one of the new licences granted after government reforms relaxed fixed opening hours has been curbed.
