Husband stabbed
JURORS cleared a “terrified” ex-wife of trying to murder her former husband.
But shop worker Sharon Daly, 37, was convicted at the Old Bailey of wounding with intent.
The court heard how Alan Black, 40, previously jailed for a drunken attack in which he punched his baby son, was stabbed during a confrontation when he was visiting relatives in Ealing. Mrs Daly, of Royal College Street, Camden Town, went in fear of him, the jury heard.
She was remanded on bail and will be sentenced after probation reports. |
