Teachers’ posts filled

CAMDEN’S secondary schools have vacancies for just three teachers at the start of the autumn term, figures seen by the New Journal reveal.
Last year nine places were left unfilled at the start of term in the borough’s nine secondaries, while in 2005 the figure was 22.
The highest number of vacancies in the past 10 years was in 2003, when 59 posts were unfilled before term started.
