Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 6 September 2007

Welcome

• AS Bengali members of the Camden community, we welcome the developing friendship links between Camden and Abu Dis in Palestine.
Recently a group of women from Abu Dis visited the Hopscotch Asian Women’s Centre. It is good for people in Camden to understand the problems of others, and we hope to arrange a future showing of the Camden-Abu Dis photo exhibition in King’s Cross. We know that other communities in Camden are also pleased to see the links with Abu Dis growing and we hope that eventually the council will be able to lend their support too.
MD ABDUL NOOR
chair, Bengali Men’s Project
