Kentish Town comeback

Division One
Ampthill Town 3 Kentish Town 4

KENTISH Town twice came from behind to seal a thrilling away victory against pre-season favourites Ampthill Town on Saturday in Buckinghamshire.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first half when Jonathan Donoghue headed home Thomas Looney’s in-swinging free-kick.
Ampthill hit back to take the lead courtesy of two goals from Christian Lester, but their lead only lasted a matter of minutes before Ricky Lucas pulled Town level.
Ampthill restored their goal advantage thanks to a smart finish from Tony Hill, but again Kentish Town hit back to level, this time with a stunning 25-yard free-kick from midfielder Paul Butler.
With the game heading for a draw, Town captain Looney earned his side a priceless win when he danced his way through the home defence and slotted home a dramatic last-gasp winner.
