Dream date at Wembley for New Liberty

A TEAM of triumphant footballers fulfilled their boyhood dreams this week when they stepped out at the new Wembley Stadium. Players from Camden based side New Liberty overcame scores of teams from across the country to seal the runners-up spot in the Umbro Fives Finals. The eight man squad, who train at Paradise Park in Holloway, won their place in the national finals after being crowned champions in the regional Power League in Basingstoke. Despite just missing out on the overall title, New Liberty had a tournament to remember after they got the chance to meet a host of their footballing heroes, including former England internationals Alan Shearer and John Barnes.
