Women’s footy feast

GIRLS and women footballers are in for a feast of fun this summer with a series of tournaments at the Swiss Cottage Pitch.
The Winchester Project is hosting its Winch Copa America five-a-side tournament for under-12s and under-14s on August 17 between 11am and 5pm.
Girls’ under-12s, under-14s and under-16s teams will also get the chance to win a place in the final of Fitzrovia Youth in Action’s prestigious Unity Cup.
The under-12s compete at Swiss Cottage on August 7 between 10am and 4pm, while the under-14s and under-16s play two days later on August 9 between 11am and 2pm and 2pm and 5pm respectively.
Women footballers can also join in the fun in a three-week women’s five-a-side league, aimed at players aged 15 years and over, at Swiss Cottage Pitch on August 3, 10 and 17.
