Three year ‘tax freeze’ announced

The Town Hall last night announced plans to keep council tax rises to the level of inflation for three years.
The forecast follows the complete freeze on tax in this year’s budget. The size of the increase will mean that an ‘efficiency programme’ which has seen cuts across the board is set to continue.
