Heating for this year!

• WE were promised heating by Conservative councillors (Residents ‘left out in the cold’ by Tories, July 12), but Labour said they could not think about it until 2012-14. We will be getting our heat this year, October 2007. Our boiler has at least 14 years’ life left. Installing a new one would be pointless and only increase the cost to leaseholders.
If certain people would only ask the Tenants and Residents Association for information they would realise what an achievement it is to get the heating this year.
