A debut worthy of a star

PROMISING young gym star Aasha Kimpton captured bronze in her first ever competition for Camden Gymnastics Club at the weekend.
At the age of just seven, Aasha wowed judges as she performed with great elegance and deliberation on the floor, vault, beams and bars at the Pegasus Open Invitational competition, which was held in Kent.
Competing against children from across the country, the Islington youngster, who lives a stone’s throw away from Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, made a memorable debut as she clinched a deserved third place finish to seal a place on the winners’ podium.
