Elliot Reidy
Game, set and match

TENNIS ace Elliot Reidy served up a great win on Sunday when he won the under-12s Brondesbury Club Singles Championships, writes Taja Essor.
Held at the club in West Hampstead, the talented 10-year-old beat Adam Meyer 13-11 in a tie break to clinch victory in a thrilling final.
The annual competition, which gives youngsters the chance to enjoy the competitive side of the sport, proved a big hit with players of all ages as they turned out to take part in the action.
Across the courts Rachel Corrigan beat Lorna Hitchcock to win the under-14s girls’ singles title. Rebecca Hulstrom won the under-18s girls’ singles final, before teaming up with Megan Hitchcock to win the girls’ doubles competition.
Ed Klinger also picked up a trophy after wining the boys’ under-18s singles tournament.
