Cumberland crew net money for charity

MEMBERS from Cumberland Netball Club strutted their stuff for charity on Sunday when they turned out for the Race for Life fundraiser on Hampstead Heath.
A team of 14 players from the club, which is based at the Camden Town Sports Pitch in Camden Street, turned out for the event as they raised more than £350 for Cancer Research.
The Cumberland crew were also celebrating a new sponsorship deal with specialist sportswear provider Running Bare, who have kitted the girls out for success ahead of next season when they will be looking to defend their title in the North London Netball League.
The club are searching for players for their Senior Squad ahead of the new season, which gets underway in September. Trials will be held at the Camden Town Sports Pitch on Saturday July 14 between midday and 4pm. Women interested must be over 16, and register first online at www.cumberlandnetball.com.
