Another Roy, please

• I WAS sorry to read about Roy Shaw’s retirement due to ill health (Roy, ‘the king of Camden’, June 7). It has been great for Haverstock ward to have a local man as councillor, someone who really knew the area and had campaigned here for years.
I hope Haverstock finds a replacement with a record of involvement with our community. I am sure Roy would want to hand over to someone who cares about the area as much as he always has.
