Summer seven-a-sides

TROPHY chasing football teams are being invited to sign up for a series of special seven-a-side tournaments over the summer.
Organised by Prime Soccer, scores of talented youngsters aged between six to 11-years-old will be given the chance to take part in a host of daylong competitions, which will be held at either Market Road or Primrose Hill.
The first tournament kicks-off next Saturday (June 16) with under-7s and under-8s teams stepping out at Primrose Hill Park, while the under-10s get their campaign underway at Market Road. There will also be a tourney for under-9s and under-10s teams at Primrose Hill Park on the Sunday, June 17.
In a action packed summer schedule, there will then be tournaments taking place every weekend over the following five weeks.
Any teams interested in signing up must have between seven to 10 players, who are all within the same age category. Entry costs £15. Anyone interested should contact Nirmala Sanassee on 07985 443 079.
