In the Under-11s ‘A’ League, two goals from Markus Gonzalez inspired the Saints of St Pancras to an impressive 4-2 win over Hampstead Tigers.
A strike from Jay Oliver gave the Saints an early lead, only for Hampstead to hit back and take a 2-1 advantage at the break. But a Gonzalez double and an effort from man of the match Alfie Miles saw St Pancras bounce back to seal all three points.
Isledon Wolves ended their season on a high in the Under-11s B League with a convincing win over Crown and Manor. Mychaell Da Silva hit a hat-trick, while Ahmet Berat added a brace. Toby Carpenter, Jason Owusu and Yvon Phyl were also on target as Wolves sealed an impressive 8-2 victory.
Champions Tufnell continued their winning streak in the Under-12s ‘A’ League with a battling 2-1 victory over Bridge Rovers. Man of the match Kaleb Sofer scored a contender for goal of the season, while a strike from Brian Lyimo sealed the win. There was a welcomed clean sheet for Hampstead when they beat Angel Islington 3-0 thanks to strikes Luke Heaton, Jordan Palmer-Samuels and Bertie Winek.
Two goals in the last five minutes from Kameron Dorsett saw St Pancras keep their title hopes alive in the Under-12s ‘B’ League with a thrilling 3-2 victory over N4 United. Edward Skowronek was also on target for the Saints.
In the same division, there were goals galore as Lyndhurst beat Finsbury Park. Stevie Chandler struck twice, while Georgie Dalton, Jason Wanzola, Robert Seaward, Luke Sherrell and Ryan Josephs were also on target as Lyndhurst completed a 7-0 rout.
Meanwhile in the Challenge Cup, Hampstead Hawks cruised into the under-11s final with a convincing victory over Highgate Rangers. Connor Jones and Connor Sullivan scored two goals apiece, while Luke Rushe was also on target as Hawks ran out 5-0 winners.
Hawks will play Soccerscool in the final after they beat Islington Admiral Youth 3-1 in their semi-final.
