Flipping Becks, he wants a jacket

WHEN a large silver Bentley pulled into a loading bay in Camden High Street outside House of Leather clothing shop on Saturday, store keeper Roman Quid was about to warn the driver that he’d get a ticket if he stayed there for more than five minutes.
But then David Beckham stepped out of the driver’s door and asked Mr Quid to show him some leather jackets he had on display, the thought of parking wardens vanished.
Mr Roman said: “I was having a fag outside my shop when I saw the Bentley and thought – I wonder who owns such a car?
The former England captain and current Real Madrid star popped in to the shop next door to look at trainers, and then asked Mr Quid to fish out some medium-sized leather jackets – and Mr Quid eventually sold him two for £400.
Mr Quid continued: “He didn’t even try it on. He was very polite and gave me his autograph. It was nice to meet him – I have always thought he was a great player, even though I am actually a Chelsea fan.”
