Futebol de Salao Under-11s
We’re on the trail to glory!

SCORES of talented young footballers are gearing up for a grand finale in the Camden and Islington Youth League as they kick-off the final stretch of the season at Market Road on Friday following a deserved Easter Break.
In the Under-9s ‘A’ League, unbeaten Futebol de Salao are just one win away from securing the title in their debut season at the Astroturf pitches.
The unstoppable FDS have been in impressive form, picking up 22 points out of a possible 24 so far with seven wins and a draw from eight games.
With just one game to go in the Under-9s ‘B’ League, joint leaders Lyndhurst Lions and Angel Islington will go head-to-head in a titanic title decider on Friday April 27 in their final game of the season.
At the other end of the table, the only under-8s side in the league Lyndhurst Cubs will be looking to end their season on a high against Bridge Rovers as they gain valuable experience ahead of next season.
Unbeaten Hampstead have already been crowned champions in the Under-10s ‘A’ League after eight wins and a draw saw them open up a seven point lead at the top of the table. St Pancras and Islington Admiral Youth will battle it out for second spot.
In the Under-10s ‘B’ League, Futebol de Salao and Lyndhurst will play out a dramatic title run-in as they sit joint top with 27 points apiece with two games left to go.
League leaders Islington Admiral Youth have just one game left in the Under-11s ‘A’ League.
But with Peel, EC1 Elite and Hampstead Hawks all boasting games in hand over the current table toppers, the championship race is set to go down to the wire.
Among the teams looking to end their season on a high will be Futebol de Salao, who take on Somers Town in their next match.
In the Under-11s ‘B’ League, leaders Soccerscool need just one point from their remaining three games to clinch the title after 10 wins and three draws saw them open up a six-point lead at the top of the table.
Tufnell have already been crowned champions of the Under-12s ‘A’ League, leaving Chapel Boys and Angel Islington to battle it out for the runners up spot.
In one of the closest run-ins, Crown and Manor, St Pancras and Lyndhurst could all still lift the title in the Under-12s ‘B’ League.
With two games left to go, Crown and Manor and St Pancras are currently joint top with 27 points, while Lyndhurst are just a win behind on 24 points.
In the Under-13s ‘A’ League, unbeaten Highbury Falcons are just one win away from clinching the title after securing six wins and two draws in eight games.
There will be a nail-biting finale in the Under-13s ‘B’ League, with Futebol de Salao, Elite Soccer, Tufnell and EC1 Elite all still chasing the title.
FDS are currently top with 20 points, while second place Elite Soccer are a point behind with a game in hand. Tufnell and EC1 are third and fourth with 16 and 15 points respectively.
