Camden Year 6 District Team celebrate another great win

Season ends on a high
THE borough’s talented young footballers, who are sponsored by the Camden New Journal, ended their season on a high when they beat rivals Islington
1-0 at Campdale Road in Tufnell Park, writes Melvyn Shearer.
The only goal of the game came midway through the first half when Mahlon Romeo, who goes to Lyndhurst School in Hampstead, powered in a thunderous effort from the edge of the area to hand the Year 6 side victory.
With the under-11s squad moving up to secondary school soon, Camden are on the look out for any current Year 5 players to star for their borough next season.
