Camden and Islington Youth League round up

Under-9s A League


TITLE chasing Hampstead kept their championship hopes alive with a 2-0 victory over Chapel.
Captain Lewis Gunn fired Hampstead ahead before Ryan Kochberg made the points safe with a stunning strike from the edge of the area.
League leaders FDS were also victorious as they beat Islington Admiral Youth 1-0.
The win leaves them two points clear of Hamps at the top of the table, with the two sides set to meet each other on the last day of the season.

Under-10s A League

THERE were goals galore on Friday as St Pancras sealed their biggest win of the season against Primrose Hill.


Under-11s A League

TWO goals apiece from Billy Stewart and Jason Williams saw EC1 Elite (above) leapfrog Peel at the top of the table with a five-star performance against FDS.
Williams scored a contender for goal of the season with a stunning 20-yard volley, before Harry Conway added the finishing touches to a convincing 5-0 win.
Peel are just one point off the pace with a game in hand after goals from Glodi Mpuati, Mahlon Romeo and Henry Hicks sealed a 3-0 victory over St Pancras.
The only other game saw Hawks beat Tigers
5-1 in the big Hampstead derby. Luke Rushe scored twice, while George Brenman, Niko Lysandries and Danny McCarthy were also all on target for Hawks.

Under-11s B League

A TIMELY treble from Toby Carpenter saw Isledon Wolves come from a goal down to beat Bridge Rovers 3-1 to clinch their seventh win of the season. Meanwhile goals from Andre Dawkins and James Okoro earned Park View Rangers a 2-0 win over Highgate Rangers.

Under-12s B League

TUFNELL are just one win away from clinching the championship after a convincing win over Chapel on Monday.
The unstoppable Brian Lyimo struck twice, while Liam Magwood was also on target as Tufnell ran out 3-0 winners.
It was a magnificent result for Tufnell following their 2-2 draw against Peel on Friday.
Lyimo was again on target as he fired Tufnell ahead, but Peel hit back to level courtesy of a well-taken goal from Ryan Wickham. Remy Danily restored Tufnell’s advantage, but a stunning free-kick from Srdjan Ignjatovic saw the game finish up 2-2.

Under-13s A League

AIDEN O’Brien was on target for Isledon Wolves as they draw 1-1 against Bridge Rovers.

Under-14s League

PARK View Rangers were crowned league champs after a thrilling win over Regent’s Park.
In a fiercely contested match, goals from Adam Rowe, Daniel Longa-Longa and Kyria Georgiou sealed a dramatic
3-2 win for Rangers.
