Tony bags tight win for Wolves

Our weekly spotlight on one of the league’s big games

Under-10s League
Isledon Wolves 1, Crown & Manor 0

A SINGLE strike from Tony Lysandries earned Isledon Wolves a narrow win against rivals Crown and Manor on Monday in a closely fought contest at Market Road.
Isledon dominated the first half and took a deserved lead when Lysandries scrambled the ball past Crown and Manor goalkeeper Aaron Mcou.
Wolves were unlucky not to double their lead minutes later when Kye Noel set his sights on goal, only to be denied by the post.
In a complete turnaround, Crown and Manor took control of the game in the second half as they went in search of the all-important equaliser.
Leading scorer Jahvarn Crouch came off the bench to bolster the Crown attack, but the talented striker struggled to find away past the commanding figure of goalkeeper Jamie Barton, who made a string of magnificent saves to lead Wolves to victory.
