Thanks police

• I AM on the Safer Neighbourhoods Panel in Gospel Oak and would like to praise the police for the wonderful job they do in difficult circumstances in the area.
They have closed drug dealing addresses by working with the housing office, got Asbos against street drinkers and have been working extra shifts to disperse drug dealers near the playground in Wellesley Road and Ashdown Crescent.
They are also doing their best to engage local youngsters and organised a football tournament with them a couple of weeks ago. It is important they have our support in the area for what they do and that we all help them, because often what they do is unsung.
