Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 22 March 2007

Who sorts recycling?

• EVERY Tuesday Camden recycling takes place in our street.
We put out our paper, cardboard, tin, plastic, and glass all sorted. This is then all dumped together into the huge refuse lorry.
Are there people at the other end who re-sort it? Or is it then just dumped into a land-fill site? Are recycling targets measured by how much is collected, or by how much is actually recycled?
Can the CNJ get a straight answer to these questions?
