Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 22 March 2007

Post Office praise

• SINCE the Post Office and the Royal Mail has taken so much criticism recently I would like to add my little piece, which in these days of closures and phenomenal change from this huge organisation very little, praise is heard.
I would like to inform your readers of my experience of the Hampstead High Street Branch, which I visited three times.
On each occasion I was met with friendliness, and a high degree of efficiency and willingness to help, I’d like particularly to thank Marie, on till two, who was extremely impressive and helped me enormously.
Staff are under pressure from both their management and their customers and to show that level of helpfulness gave me a very good feeling towards these nice people in this particular outlet.
I can only advise that if anybody wanted to have a problem solved by their Post Office, this is the place to go.
