Take statue down

• FATHER Rob Wickham is to leave St Mary’s in Eversholt Street. He has been a good vicar, concerned about the poor and homeless.
Before he goes could he please remove the grotesque model of a tortured man displayed on the Aldenham Street side of his church?
This very realistic image is passed by many children on their way to nearby schools.
Why must orthodox Christians indulge in such images? At least put it inside away from public gaze.
