Lion dancers
roar in Year of Dog
Camden Chinese Community Centre nursery pupils Jenson,

PUPPETEERS, acrobats, lion dancers and singing children made
sure the Chinese New Year went with a bang at Camden Centre
in King’s Cross on Saturday.
A packed audience sat enthralled throughout Camden Chinese Community
Centre’s 23rd annual variety show, which was opened by
Camden Mayor Barbara
Hughes.
The two-hour extravaganza welcoming the Year of the Dog featured
songs from children who attend the centre’s nursery in
Buck Street, Camden Town.
The show, which was sponsored by Camden Central Community Umbrella,
also acted as a fundraiser for Camden Chinese Community Centre
in Tavistock Place.
