Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published:25 January 2007

Stop your spitting

I WOULD like to say to those people who persist in putting their sputum on the pavement – please refrain from that disgusting habit – it really makes me want to vomit.
Please have consideration for other people who walk on the pavement, possibly in your spit.
These people being elderly, children, people who cannot see, need to walk on a clean pavement and rightly so.It is also a health and safety hazard, your sputum.
If you have to spit do so in the road – not the pavement.
I thought Tony Blair had bought out a law against spitting on pavements and that there was a fine on the spot for it.
