Goals make it a scorcher of a Sunday

HAT-TRICK hero Peter Walsh netted a timely treble as Globetown sealed a hard fought victory over Brasenose to stay top in Division One.
Walsh struck twice in the first half to give the table toppers a commanding 2-0 lead at the break. But Brasenose hit back to level the scores courtesy of strikes from Watson Pringle and Neil Evens.
Globetown edged back in front when Mark Smith unleashed a superb low-drive from the edge of the area. The points were made safe when Walsh completed his hat-trick to seal a 4-2 win.
Champions Reddot picked up the points with an impressive 3-1 win over Archway Allstars. Steven Bruce opened the scoring, with twins Stevie and Alexie Nicolaou also both hitting the target. Nik Tucker scored a late consolation for Archway.
Holloway Celtic netted a resounding 6-0 win over Prince of Wales.
Anthony Clark bagged a brace, while Joe Richards, Lee Woods, Aaron Seriux and Michael Crossley all added their names to a growing score sheet.
Surreal Madrid came from two goals down to earn a thrilling 2-2 draw against RD Athletic. An own goal and a penalty from Ahmed Mohammed looked to have sent Athletic well on their way to victory.
But Madrid, who went into the game having only mustered four points from the opening 10 games, battled back to level thanks to strikes from Rob Gibbs and Lee Kilby.
In Division Two Cobden Athletic sealed the result of the day as they thumped Big Red 7-0.
In front of goal, Pat Jones and Joe Thompson netted two goals apiece, while Robert Saint, Michael Johnson and Lee ‘Dingle’ O’Driscoll also all scored.
Not to be outdone rivals Moorehouse also ran out 7-0 winners as they brushed aside Grupo Desportivo os Amigos de Londres.
Richard O’Reilly notched up an impressive hat-trick, with Piotr Witon chipping in with two well-taken goals. Hugo Costa and Michael O’Rawe also scored.
Elsewhere Patrick O’Neill struck twice to earn Bertoli a 2-0 win over Broad Lane, while CS Maritimo beat Dinamo Dorigo by the same score line thanks to a double strike from Filipe Caetano.
Division Three leaders North Side came from a goal behind to secure a comprehensive 5-1 victory over Surreal Madrid.
Lawrence Pratt gave Madrid an early lead. But North Side bounced back as leading scorer Chris O’Brien hit a stunning hat-trick to take his tally to 17 goals in 11 games. Che Caffoor netted a mighty 30-yard screamer, with Jamie Charles completing the rout.
Although North Side have opened up a whopping 14-point lead at the top of the table, the Constitution are still in the hunt with five games in hand after a 3-1 victory over Scorpions.
