Camden New Journal - by ANH NGUYEN
Published: 18 January 2007

Book yourself a discount at opening

A CHARITY bookshop is offering readers a discount to mark its reopening in Eversholt Street.
Books for Amnesty is opening next week with books donated to the shop by supporters of the human rights organisation Amnesty International.
Sarah Dodgson, the bookshop co-ordinator, said: “We have an amazing range of books for sale, from the book of the film It’s a Wonderful Life to books about tunnel digging.
“Books for Amnesty is part of Amnesty International, and all proceeds from the book sales go to Amnesty’s work on human rights, especially those who are persecuted for freedom of expression in print.”
More than 15 volunteers work at the bookshop, which opened in Camden two years ago.
Readers can take advantage of the 50 per cent discount by taking along this issue of the paper.
